Regular Run Stablemate Assortment
The Swaps mold was yet another portrait of a famous Thoroughbred race horse, and again, leg and facial markings weren't exactly what you could call accurate. Fine details like stars and snips were still too time consuming to do; Stablemates were meant to be the lower budget models, so close was good enough.
Based on the flat paint job and lack of shading, I would guess that this model was from the 80s or early 90s, just before the change to new plastic. Swaps was one of the three original race horses who made it to the new plastic change-over.
Swaps makes a lovely young Thoroughbred, of course, but he could also pass as a young race-bred Quarter Horse, Anglo-Arabian, or even a Mustang as they can be quite refined depending on bloodlines.
